Logistikum @ Transport Research Arena

At the TRA, the LOGISTIKUM contributed to research networking and current topics such as digitization in the area of transport and logistics. From 16 - 19 April more than 3.000 international experts met in Vienna at the largest transport research conference in Europe, the Transport Research Arena (TRA). In presentations and in the 'Exhibition Center' or the 'Interactive Zone' they were able to exchange ideas about the latest developments in the field of transport and mobility and to discuss their research results. The LOGISTIKUM was represented at the joint stand of the 'Urban Mobility Laboratories' promoted by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit). The projects Connecting Austria, ATROPINE and the cross-faculty logistics excellence network also introduced themselves.
In this way the TRA promotes the possibility of taking important steps for future collaborations. With broad topics and a multitude of transport ideas for the future, the TRA offers a lively exchange - learning from each other and promoting innovation is a major concern of all research initiatives. The next TRA will take place in Helsinki in two years as 'TRA 2020 - enabling the transformation'.
