Real people, real stories – how DANTE project comes to live

“Real people. Real stories” is a campaign to demonstrate how the projects funded by the Danube Transnational Programme enhance the practical circumstances in the Danube region. One of these projects is DANTE, which aims to harmonize administrative barriers along the Danube. Logistikum is part of this project and identifies administrative barriers together with 14 project partners from seven Danube countries.

The practical relevance of DANTE is underlined by the campaign as the story of several affected testimonials along the Danube is being told. See for example the story of Erno Major, captain: Erno navigates the Danube River from Bavaria to the Black Sea and needs to overcome hundreds of administrative barriers, for example he has to fill in 77 forms! DANTE identifies and eliminates barriers like this and thus facilitates the use of environmentally friendly Danube River.
